Food Boxes For Our Formerly Incarcerated Neighbors
Please let us know if you are, or know someone who is, formerly incarcerated and is in need of a food box. The Prison Scholar Fund has partnered with NW Harvest to supply sustenance to our system-impacted community. (Links below.)
Working together with Northwest Harvest, we are able to provide:
- Preset 24-pound variety boxes (includes canned meals, canned fruit and veggies, pasta, and other items)
- Apples (come in cases of 30-35 apples)
- Preset box lunches (variety of PB&J, ham, turkey, and egg salad sandwiches. Each lunch comes with snack, chips, and a drink)
Unfortunately this service is only available to residents of Washington State. We have different distribution partners in different parts of the state. Currently we are serving most of the counties west of the mountains, and we may soon have partnerships to serve some of the counties in Eastern Washington.
